Leavitt hosted the Technology Standards for Global Learning conference, an international conference to identify requirements for distance education. Keynote speaker address by Sir John Daniel of The Open University. The conference was sponsored by the Western Governors University and the National Governors' Association Center for Best Practices. From the beginning of the recording to approximately 2:51:30 is the recording from Monday, April 27, 1998. The remainder of the recording is from Tuesday, April 28, 1998. The April 28th recording includes the Breakfast Address, Purpose and Goals for Sessions, Lunchtime Address, and the Final Reporting Session.
