Pelto were each awarded a Doctor of Humane Letters, Honoris Causa. WGU President Dr. Robert Mendenhall conferred the honorary doctoral degrees. This commencement was held at the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
